My goal is to provide a safe, supportive and open space that is trauma-informed and unique to each individual I meet. As a therapist, I have supported young children, teens, adults, and families with complex and diverse needs, and who hold varied and intersecting identities. I approach my practice in an intentionally anti-oppressive and person-centered way, and value forming strong therapeutic relationships that allow for self-exploration as well as strengthening practical skills in a way that is healthy and specific to each individual.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing techniques and concepts from a range of established treatment, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and humanistic. I recognize each person has different needs and unique experiences that they bring into session, all of which are equally valuable and may benefit from different tools and approaches.
I hold space with a respectful curiosity and value each individual as the expert of their own experiences, and view much of our therapeutic work as collaboration. We can work together to determine how you can be best supported during our time together and to define what progress looks like and what goals may be of importance to you.
