Dede Kott, LCSW


Dede Kott is an NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She holds a Master’s degree from Touro College Graduate School of Social Work. She has been working in the field of social work helping others help themselves for nearly a decade.

Dede serves as an Adjunct Professor at Roberts Wesleyan & Concordia Colleges, while also Field Supervisor for MSW students at Yeshiva University: Wurzweiler School of Social Work.

Dede specializes in treating trauma and related stressors for both adults and children. She provides parenting training and support as well.

Dede has experience working with couples providing marital and premarital counseling using EFT and IMAGO modalities.
Mrs. Dede Kott is passionate about helping others enhance their quality of life. Dede utilizes her ongoing education and life experience to ensure her clients a positive and supportive counseling experience. Dede takes pride in her work with teens at risk as she provides them with the necessary tools to navigate their daily challenges, hopes and dreams.

Dede strongly believes that identifying and treating the root of behavior is vital to ultimately reducing unwanted behaviors. Dede uses the neuropsychological approach to support mind and body relatedness to help others create happy and healthy relationships.
